Season recap
22 September 2011 | International | 2 Comments
It's been a difficult season with a great start in Australia, a bad start to the main international races and being fit again just in time for the Worlds. I came 0.6 seconds short for earning a spot for next years Olympics in London. Now my only change is the Euro's next year in Augsburg. Two spot's will be divided by the remaining countries.

Having a coach all along the camp was just great and I feel like we did some important work together.

The Australian Open left me behind with some mixed feelings. I am really happy about my 2nd place in Fridays heats but disappointed I messed up semi finals. Overall I am happy with my results. I did some very hard training in the weeks prior to te race and I am was glad I could convert my training effort into a very fast run on Friday. It's early in the season and there is lots of time to make things more consistent until the season really starts in june.

22 September 2010 | International | 0 Comments
A few days before the 2010 Canoe Slalom World Championships in Slovenia, multiple Olympic medal winner in C1 Michal Martikan from Slovakia launched the Facebook page 'Comeback to canoe slalom'. He doesn't like what our beautiful sport is developing in to and wants to start a discussion about where we should go. So, what do I think?!
