Season recap

It's been a difficult season with a great start in Australia, a bad start to the main international races and being fit again just in time for the Worlds. I came 0.6 seconds short for earning a spot for next years Olympics in London. Now my only change is the Euro's next year in Augsburg. Two spot's will be divided by the remaining countries.

I was quiet happy with the week prior to the Worlds. The last months has been bad and I was finaly feeling fit again. It showed in the heats where I put down the two best run of the main season. Qualifying comfortably in 14th or something. The semi finals showed a lsightly more difficult course. I couldn't keep it together and missed out on the first 15 Olympic spot's by 0.6 seconds. It was a hard call.

I have some tough evaluation to do. The start of the year was great, but the main international races were disappointing. Going in to next year the Euro's in Augsburg are crucial in making it to the Olympics.

    Jammer dat je het net niet gehaald hebt!!!! Kom maar snel weer naar Australië om je alsnog te kunnen kwalificeren voor Londen. Tot snel,

    Goed van je te horen Emma! En ik kom zeker snel weer naar Australië. 26 december t/m 10 maart ben ik er grin Heb er erg veel zin in! Wordt een top voorbereiding om me in mei voor de OS te plaatsen. Hoe gaat het met jouw quest voor London?
