2011 Dutch Champioen

Last weekend I won my 6th Dutch Championship titel regaining it from Bas Wesselink who was the number one from last year. Four National Championships were being held during the 2011 Kajak Festival at Dutch Water Dreams in Zoetermeer. All the white water disciplines were there with Slalom, Freestyle, Boater X and downriver sprint.
After being ill for almost two weeks I was very happy to regain my title. In first run I took a convincing lead of over five seconds. In the second run nobody came clos to my time resulting in me being the 2011 Dutch Canoe Slalom Champion.
